Hello all,

Joined TMS today after google lead me here on a couple occasions.

Finally getting a mustang, after wanting one for 20+ years, basically since I started driving.

Life just always had other plans for what I should be driving instead.
And if it was not a truck (F150 initially, and now an F250 SD [2nd vehicle]) I would try to drive it like a sports car. The 2003 Saturn Vue manual 4cyl I just sold to make the last of my down payment REALLY struggled w/ that idea.

I have been doing good w/ waiting for my car to be built, but now that it is in transit......
I'm going CRAZY.
8 Days may just kill me waiting.

When she comes in I'll post pics.

Welcome to TMS from an other Idaho guy. Love to see your pics. Just a few more days to go, but I am with you. The process is killer, and the wait is the worst. But well worth it.

 

7 days so far, and I'm still alive. Found out yesterday my car is waiting to be loaded onto a truck for the last bit of its journey (about a 5 hour trip).

Dealership said it could be a week, to wait for a truck and to load it.

WHAT!?!?!?
So close but yet still so far away.
Still have my fingers crossed for a Friday/Saturday surprise.

The dealership just called and my "baby" is in!!!
But they close in 10 minutes.

I get to pick my new mustang up at 10am tomorrow.

I hope I can sleep tonight.

I'm hoping the weather holds through this weekend. Thinking of driving to Idaho City, then over to Banks. Nice drive through the mountains. Should be a real nice drive w/ spring trying to show up.
