Greetings From The Volunteer State

Hello,

I'm John and I live near Chattanooga, TN. While looking to buy a Camaro SS in the spring of 2011, I decided to test drive a new 5.0. I have owned a Formula Firebird and three Corvettes, but never a Mustang. After driving a new GT, I decided that was what I wanted. In June 2011, I bought a 2011 California Special with manual transmission, 3.55 performance axle, Comfort Package, Shaker 1000, and projector headlights in Performance White. I replaced the GT/CS stripe with black powder coated 5.0 emblems and installed a BBK x-pipe and GT500 mufflers. The car now has 15,000 miles after almost 2 years. I have a long list of future modifications that I want to do as money permits. I'm looking forward to getting opinions and input from others about these awesome cars.

Welcome! Very sharp looking ride!

IMO... On the white car a blacked out roof looks amazing! You can easily get it vinyl wrapped.

That is actually on my "to do" list. Within the next few weeks I will add the matte black boss style roof vinyl, the quarter window deletes like on the GT350, and the matte black tail light trim. I also plan on lowering the car 1.5" soon.

It's going to look great! What lowering kit are you looking at?

I haven't decided yet. It's not a daily driver, but I do put about 7k to 8k miles a year on it mainly on weekends. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've heard eibach being used a lot, seems to be a reputable brand.

Some people cut a little off... As I'm sure there might be some cons about that but I'm not to sure.

You could always call American Muscle and talk to them, the staff there is very knowledgable and very willing to help.

Looking good! How do you like the quarter window deletes? I think Roush style louvers would look better, did you consider those?

I'm just up the road in Knoxville.
