Got lucky
Got lucky. Bought a 2012 GT Premium 5.0 Race Red Convertible (black top) 2 months ago. Only had 2,461 miles on it.
Owned a 1965 6 cyl white Mustang convertible (white top) back in '67. Loved it and I love my 2012.
Got on the forum when I Googled re strange squeaks in front end while going over "speed bumps" at Philly airport. Seems this has been a common problem with the 2012. Need to take to a dealer and check it out. Are they aware of the problem and willing to fix it without haggling? I've seen a Ford rep on here and wonder if she could help make dealing with Ford service easier?
Will be reading up on all you 'Stang owners and adding my own stories. One thing I have been doing lately when seeing another 'Stang convertible on the road is giving the "thumb's up" to them. Look for me on the road in S. Philly and S. Jersey. * Especially "down the shore" Avalon/Stone Harbor/Wildwood areas.

Welcome fellow GT convertible owner and Jerseyan , even if you're from "down there" !!!! I've been doing the Mustang salute since I got mine in May and it often results in vigorous horn honking from the other driver.
Good deal with the low mileage....still a some warranty left. Enjoy the top down while you can...not too much of summer left. To paraphrase our tourism commercials, "New Jersey, you, and a Mustang - Perfect Together".
Don't forget to post some pics.
