Goooood Mornin', MustangSource.com!!
Oops, forgot I'm not watching Robin Williams
. I'd like to say "Howdy Partner, glad to be here!" I'm a long time Mustang fan, probably since I was hatched
then dropped on my head (so my wife says
).
I'm currently working on my third Mustang, the only one left, which is a 1967 coupe with lots of options! It has a 289c.i./4bbl/automatic that has around 125,000+/- miles on it. I bought it back in the '90s and have been working on it for years. I'm currently rebuilding the whole front of it, don't ask...accident
.
I live in the beautiful Left Coast, and I'd drive my baby everyday if it was running. I'm here to learn more than I think I know, add to the discussions and maybe if lucky....find parts I need to make it all work. Most of all, I'm here to make friends and network with those who like stuff I like. I love all Mustangs, cheer anyone that works on their own car and offers assistance to those around them trying to learn about these great icons of muscle. I don't care if you're making a Restomod or doing a Concours restoration, as long as we're not sending them to the junkyard.
Drop me a line or ask me anything, if I can help you I will. I'm not a genius and some will think my mechanical skills are poor, but as far as I see, I'm turnin' a wrench and that makes me happy. I'd rather do it right, but will do what I gotta do to make the parade. It's real nice being here and I'm proud to call all of you friends and family.

Howdy Glenn! I don't have any pictures right now, but will get some scanned it soon. The car is in my garage under years of storage and life's emergencies. I hope to post some as soon as I can dig it out. Nice to meet you and hope I'll be able to add to the discussion around here as time goes on.
The next Mustangs I got, were a 1967 Coupe and a 1967 Fastback (for my wife...now ex). I worked on them for years, but fate stepped in and things got rough. My ex-wife was rear-ended on a freeway exit by a kid doing 65mph. He slammed her and the car got badly crushed and flipped. Since the whole car was trashed, I stripped what I could for parts and sadly retired the carcass to the junkyard. It was a beauty, made me cry...I miss that car.
I recently had a 1985 Mustang hatchback used for commuting but, needed money so I sold it to a local teenager. The dream now goes forward in another young man, hope he enjoys it.
I still have the coupe, it's in my garage waiting for the whole front-end and clip to be replaced (I had a boo-boo that hurt her badly). That's the car I currently have and will resurrect in the future.
