I just bought my first mustang. It's a 94, 2dcv and black. So far it's a beaut. But, I'm also a first time manual owner... so, tips, tricks, and common mistakes made to wear my clutch would be much appreciated. I too have never joined a forum until now. I want to treat her good

linden,
Welcome from another new member. Remember to never "ride" your clutch. If you aren't shifting gears, keep your foot off the pedal. If you're sitting, in gear, keep the clutch pedal to the floor until you launch.
Your feel for the clutch/gear box will become intuitive with experience.
Forgive my ignorance, what is "2dcv" and what comprises the "pony package"?
Mike
