Just purchased my first Mustang a few days ago. Normally I am an import guy, but decided to step into the V8 world. I purchased a 1996 GT what the only 54,XXX miles on it for a pretty decent price. Please excuse the awful wheels. Any advice is welcome.
Welcome to the Mustang family Cody. You've got a good one to start on. I would change all of the fluids unless you know they have been done recently, tranny, rear diff, brake etc. Check you belt, get ya a new gas filter, change the oil, and have a ball. These little cars run forever if the regular maintenance is taken car of properly. My '06 just turned 100K, and runs like a champ.
Oh BTW, you're forgiven for the wheels. But, you must change those out. Not good, not good at all.
