Thanks! I think the first one will be an exhaust - the V6 definitely does not make that deep growl I like on the V8. I'm contemplating between a Borla Atak or Magnaflow.

Any recommendations?

Are you logging on with your username and password? If you can't, and did not receive a confirmation email, something failed at setup.

Yes, I'm logging on with a username and pw, but never received any confirmation email. Is it because I logged on through facebook? Should I just create a new account and register the normal way?

 

I don't know about creating a logon thru fb so I'd say Yes to normal way. I think then you could log on thru facebook fine but I'd create an account/log on direct with TMS first.

 

If for some reason there are issues creating an account with tms since you already did thru fb - like it says username already taken etc. post back here.

I sent a message to scothew with a link to this thread. He would know all. He's usually pretty prompt though sometimes tied up on a project for a bit.

My tuner, JDM, seems to recommend Magnaflow not only for the V6, but for the GT & GT500. If you do the complete exhaust including headers, there might be some hp gains.
( my current system has longtubes with cats going to the stock GT500 mufflers.............noise only when you put your foot down. )
