Lol I don't even know what a track pack is. Lol Posting pictures of myself would only cause trouble so I'd only do that through on lol. I went to the lot and said I want that one and it was in my price range so I went with it. Also I think your avatar is really funny and wonder if I could get a actual bowl that looks like that. I'd call them carbowl for all you car fans.

Awe thanks I'm really liking it. Would you by chance know of a good spray cleaner/wax to use?

i don't use spray cleaners. it'll just rub dirt on your paint leaving fine scratches. spray cleaners are really meant for car shows, taking greasy finger prints off throughout the day. wash it properly or nothing. even for bird poop, i break out the lambswool mitt, water and soap.

when it comes to soap and wax, you can't go wrong with meguiar's or mothers consumer products. i use meguiar's myself.

washing - use the 2 bucket method or use 1 bucket of soap and water for half of the car, empty and refill for the other half. wash from top to bottom. also, doors and side panels are washed with the mitt vertically and the hood and trunk horizontally. use a separate mitt for wheels and exhaust tips.

polish and wax - i take it to a professional once or twice a year, like this guy: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth..._R-R8-113-pics that read will give u an idea on how to really care for a car.
but in between, i wax it myself with meguiar's gold class or nxt tech wax.

for wheels and exhaust i use the same meguiar's soap and sometimes wax it. for tire shine i use the meguiar's aerosol kind.

as for my avatar, it's not merely a rice bowl. it's one of the most sarcastic pictures in history. u take arguably the best bang for buck auto ever made, (with u owning #2 imo) and take the biggest poop on it by calling it "rice". it's hilarious

I actually like it though as a bowl. I think it's creative. Imagine if they made bowls you could buy shaped like your favorite car!

Nice car and welcome. As far as going with a good polish on black paint, go with Zaino, it doesn't leave a white residue on trim and decals, not to mention it gives an amazing shine and depth, gets better the more coats you apply. The second choice would be Meguiar's. To learn more about zaino go to www.carpolish.ca

Welcome to the forum. Good luck keeping that thing clean. There is a wealth of info about car detailing on some of the dedicated detailing forums such as Autogeek.net. That's where I learned most of my tricks of the trade. Please don't autowash your car either. Those spinning washing things will beat your car's paint to death and cause of TON of swirl marks that will take someone hours to repair. There are a lot of good how-to videos on car care on the above listed website. Very nice car.
