Finally a Mustang Owner Again!
Hi All!
My first car was a '68 Mustange coupe, which was the family car, and I bought it from my Dad as soon as I was old enough. However, during my stupid "learned how to drink and party" years, I was really good at making bad decisions, and sold the car. I regretted it ever since!
Finally, I am getting another Mustang! I'm picking up a 2014 Ruby Red Mustang Convertible on Thanksgiving weekend! I already have a shopping cart full of upgrades/mods on AmericanMuscle.com. LOL
From what I've seen so far, this looks to be a great forum community!
Cheers,
Rob

Welcome and glad you're back in a Mustang! You really hail from Spudville?

I just ordered some misc stuff- banner & bar sign for the garage, an emblem for an "in memory of" dash plaque I want to have made, and some engine compartment dress up items. (struts & dress up kit) Once I have the car, the big order will happen- CAI + Tune, axle back Magnaflow Exhaust, side scoops, wing, stripes, 3.7 badges. Eventually I'll do rims & tires, and maybe lowering springs. Should be great, as long as the budget can withstand the abuse! LOL
Thanks! Happy to be here!

Congrats on the new ride, love that color.
Hey I am just down the road. Nice to see another Idaho boy on this forum... Enjoy your new ride. Hope you win big in Vegas to pay for those mods!
So why all the way to Missouri to find the car?

Wanted to see my sister and her family for Thanksgiving anyway, and I really wanted the Ruby Red since it is the closest to our CandyApple red '68 we had. Search 200 mile radius from Boise for that color, '13 or'14 'vert v6, got 0 results. Same search 200 miles from Bemtonville Arkansas, 24 results! bright and early Saturday (tomorrow) morning, I start the three day drive home. Actually looking forward to it!

Good luck on your drive. Keep your fingers crossed the weather holds out for you.
There are some events. Most I know of are early spring through October. There is a Cars and Coffee event the 3rd Saturday March-Oct. The Mustang/Ford club is also active in Boise. Met a few of them, but being on the west end of the valley it is not too convenient for me. They have a website but it is not real current looking, best to hit their Facebook page...

Enjoy your drive, it really does sound like a great time.

Thanks!
Cool! Thanks for the info! Maybe we can get a west side division going for Nampa & Caldwell.
The drive has been awesome so far! I LOVE the car! Used the track app, and the 3.7 V6 scoots pretty well! (Nothing like your beastly Shelby though!) I clocked a 0-60 in 6.2 on my only try so far, and it was a bit of an uphill & slight curve onramp. Plus it gets a lot of looks... And it's stock.... For now.
