What a beauty... I drove a car exactly like that the first week the local dealership got the first batch of '05s in... Drove like a dream, and everyone breaking their necks trying to catch a glance was awesome.

 

did you add the cobra emblems, or are they photochopped? I would take a car like that just with sonic blue and add a 03 cobra motor and tranny to match the emblems

 

I don't need super powers..I have just enough under the hood to keep me happy.

Stripes, pins,door vents, window vents, scoop.

And this is my stripes:I am going with these because to to the beauty of two members stripes(hello adrenalin and orthoguy), everyone has them.I don't want what everyone else has.
There is also a twin of my car, in my zip code. I want to stand out from them, and also quit being accused of being that car.

Ellie as it stands today 1/18/04:

Today I was supposed to go lay out the stripes & pins and get her scheduled. Went twice- guess I am a woman and only men are allowed in there, no one at the door, parking lot full. B. will take her when he gets back or I will try Thursday.

I also took her to the dealer for the aggravating shaker issue, no soup for me, Stereo guy is only in mwf 8-10 AM.

I know some of you- I don't know all of you.Therefore I cut off my tag # when I take pictures of her butt.
A car tag is like a SSN......

 

Not quite. Now a VIN - that's more like your car's SS#. But that aside - what could possibly happen if people know your tag number?

 

people come hunting you down, and stalking you. But seriously, I don't see the harm in a license plate. Other then the plates themselves are ugly and detract from the vehicle no matter how well mounted they are.

I swear to it I am going to up and move to Penna. Eleanor might not like the snow.......but shes a car......


Finally got my husband behind the wheel........ONE time for 3 minutes. Cant put a gun to his head and get him back in there. Crazy man. I feel SO guilty driving her all myself! And I am 100% honest when I say that. He's not getting his mustang until next year. Apparently a black Gt. which I will not be allowed to drive.

 

oh stripe update..

I made the super mistake of going to the custom shop alone.........The owner took me on a tour and showed me the joy of buried stripes...... $800 more than the ones I was having done.
He was restoring a 69 camaro SS burying the stripes. TOO nice, its like glass. Project Eleanor is on hold.

Wanna be honest? I have not washed her since January 9th. Shes all brown and gross! I am ashamed and embarassed.

 

April, are stripes on your Mustang painted or just ... taped over (you know what I mean).

 

They will be painted when I get around to doing it. Painted and unburied, clearcoat over painted stripes. Unburied, which means you can feel em, but they won't peel off or catch wax. $600
