As most of you know we did a big cruise to raise money for the victims of Katrina last weekend here in SD, I had already posted up some of the pics I took and the vids I took as well as some taken by others but one of the local guys just finished editing a really cool vid of the whole thing. Here it is, its kind of long.....

http://www.crossroadvideos.com/player.aspx...CE-8570D749EF0F

my car is the black 05 GT with the fogs on and the DPR sticker on the quarter windows, it doesnt appear much since I was also filming in fact some of the footage is what I took, you can see the guys car that did this vid as well, it is the black 04 roush with the silver stripes. We raised over $1100 all went to the Red Cross fund for Katrina.

I guess we killed the link already. Can you host the video somewhere else? Try http://www.putfile.com/

It's free and you don't have to register to host or view the video. The only limitation is that the video be less than 10mb.

your welcome I hope everything is going well for you and your family and that you managed to avoid most of the storm, and its not like I need an excuse to drive my car

We were VERY fortunate in that our house was not flooded or structurally damaged. We have property damage but the house is good to go, so we have taken in 6 members of 2 extended family units, including 2 children under the age of 3.

So we are dealing with the storm after the storm.

But it is especially tough on the elderly. Among them, my in-laws whose home was inundated by flood waters---9 feet inside the home; water rose past the ceiling into the attic area. Everything is destroyed. They will be with us a while, until they can sort out what they want or need to do next.

You really don't get a feel for the magnitude of this event unless you drive through and around town and see it---block after block, mile after mile, of damage and devastation. We live on the west side of New Orleans, and the storm jogged just to the east of the city. So the further east you drive the worse it is.

Again, your concern and efforts on our behalf are so very appreciated. Thank you, my friend.

Atta girl, Teri. Your efforts on behalf of all victims of Hurricanes Katrina & Rita are greatly appreciated.

I have relatives from here to western Louisiana who were flooded by both storms, some who were left homeless as a result and are living with us now. So your efforts are particularly special to us. Thank you.
