Just take a look at the size of that ANTENNA
Its HUGGGGE

First thing...pick car up
Second thing...drive car home.
Third thing...cut friggin antenna down

I cut mine and reception still rocks. My favorite station is 50+ miles away and I listen with no problems.

still not sure how I feel about the outward angled taillights....I think I like the 99-04 rear better because it looks stalkier, but we'll see.

I have owned my car for 4 years and have only used the radio once and that was in the lot just to see if it worked. I'm taking 2005 to a body shop and having the antenna hole filled and smoothed.

mine is uber short too....
And I still get great reception.

It's not telescopic. You'll have to unscrew it if you don't want it to be seen.
