Circle Track Mustang

Hi, I’m Joe, I’m interested in starting a new mustang project. I’m researching the possibilities of building a 2005-2009 circle track mustang stock car. The class I’m building, uses stock platforms. Most car in the class are GM base Camaros, Novas and metric cars. After looking at the geometry of the front & rear of the the mustang. I think a mustang would make a very superior car to the ones on the track now.
My biggest question is, will a small block Windsor engine fit in the 05-09 model years? I will be running this engine platform, because this class requires the engines to be carbureted.

Any suggestions, input & experience could help.
Thanks, Joe
