Back in a Mustang
Back in a Mustang
Hello...general auto enthusiast here. I've owned about 40 different cars of all types and makes. Not a fanboy of any particular make or model...I can appreciate the strong points of any of them. I started playing with Mustangs and Camaros in the 90's, and since then I've owned a wide range of vehicles. I've done a good bit of autocrossing and roadracing on and off over the years, so power is important to me but handling is as well. With the changes to the body of the Mustang in '10, and the Coyote 5.0 in '11, I started to take interest in the Mustang again.
I said I'd never buy a new car again, but I just recently bought a '12 base GT because the deal was right. No options on the car at all, but I like it that way. I'm loving this car right now...the build quality seems so much better than in the past, the car handles and drives well, and that engine is soooo nice. It seems to be an amazing car for the money. I plan to just use it as a daily driver and something fun to take trips in. It's going to be hard to resist setting it up to autocross though...maybe that will happen later.
