OK, great. Even with the one reply I suppose I'm in the right place. I'm 64 and always wanted a Mustang since I was a teenager - not necessarily a Shelby, but the auction ad popped up on a Honda Ridgeline forum I'm a member of, and I immediately fell in love with the '07 Shelby, especially since it was black and gold and I'm a huge Saints fan. The car is a dream come true! Very fast, super clean, low miles, 5-speed manual, convertible, and has awesome handling, I'm a Louisiana native, currently living in Georgia, about an hour due east of Atlanta, in a county with WAY TOO MANY COPS! I bought the car about 2 months ago, but with the excessive cop situation I haven't been able to really see what she'll do. I live in the small town of Buckhead - not at all to be confused with the big town Buckhead just outside of Atlanta. My Buckhead has 1 stop sign and 6 churches and plenty of open country roads - calling out to drive like you stole it! However, besides the cop numbers, the town got it's name from a high population of deer. I've hit 2 in the 10 years I've lived here, and I don't want to f-up the Shelby by a deer attack!
I've got questions regarding the car and especially the Whipple supercharger. Before asking I'll search the forum for answers. Glad to be part of a Mustang enthusiasts group.
We Don't get a Lot of Posts Lately on the Weekends. Monday Morning They Start Rolling In. We Have Plenty of Folks With Supercharged Cars! I Had an 07 Gt/Cs With a Roushcharger. My Wifes Truck is an 02 Supercharged F-150 Harley Edition. My Car is an 07 Gt-500 Supercharged. And Partner we are Mostly in Your Age Group! You Will Fit Right in!
LOL I bought my '06 Mustang GT brand new when I was 58 years old. Do the math on that!
p.s. I'll echo Kevin; the wealth of knowledge from veterans of the S197 third party OEM boom is huge on this site. These guys paid and did all the on/off road and track testing of what works and what doesn't. And with Kevin's continuing efforts, the help available on this site will become unprecedented.

You have indeed come to the right place, as our Mustang community has been in existence for over 19 years and we're all die-hard Mustang enthusiasts that are always excited to welcome new Mustangers along for the ride...
