I'm very disappointed at the moment. I just got a 2002 mustang gt (5 speed manual) on the 22nd. I was driving it home from school on Monday and it spun out of control and slammed the rear of the car into a pole. They think the axel broke and that's what caused me to spin out. I am still unsure at the moment. But one thing is for sure, I love mustangs. Either they fix it, or I get another one. It's a shame what happened to the car. Anyone else have any ideas? Thanks

 

Been driving an 02GT manual since 2006, and never had issues with her.


Fishtailing when the road was wet has happened, but always came back under control if I let go of the gas with no problems whatsoever.


Can't really imagine what 'broke' to cause a spinout. Sad to hear that's your first expirience with the car . Hope they can fix it and it won't cost you too much.

 

Thanks man, they think the drivers side rear axel broke. I think they are going to total it, but if they do i will have a new one coming my way!
