Glad she's ok! Unfortunately there's no resting in a hospital they constantly check your vitals and all the beeps and noises! Only when you get home can you get any rest!

I am glad to hear your wife is better, I hate hospitals. I had a similar situation where it was like my body shut down and I couldn't move, talk or feel anything for about 5 minutes and when it came back my while body shook than in a snap of a finger I was back to normal. Of course it freaked my wife out and she took me over to the hospital and kept me there three days. I hated it with them checking up on me I was literally putting stuff in their way to try and stop them from getting in. Lol

Glad to hear that your wife is okay and feeling much better. It also really sucks about your pinion gear and differential having groves cut in it, but the damages could've been far worse than what you had originally anticipated. So glad you finally got everything figured out and will be getting your ride back from the shop by the end of the week.. Also just as the other posters had mentioned, your wife is the most important who always comes first before anything else

It makes me want to pull my hair out just looking at that list. Sounds like he has his hands full but at least you are getting it fixed and should be good when you are done.

Yeah I think he has his hands full alright... when I drove it home I didn't know it didn't have any gear oil in the differential and man it did some damage in there running her dry like that.... but he is really good at what he does and I know she will be back on the road soon!!! The good thing is I still have my red v6 mustang to drive until Betty gets home... the v6 is still fun to drive but it just don't have the power my gt has.... lol

What I would do is either get new ones or if you like those rims slot I would get the tires taken off and then have them either sand blasted and sealed, get them chromed think they might look nice like that or powder coated.

I thought plasti-dip was supposed to peal off easily; if it doesn't then I don't know

Well I got all the plastic dip off the rims...I used kerosene and it just melted it right off and didn't even hurt my rims.... if you guys ever need to take plastic dip off anything remember kerosene will do the job....

Since I got her back from the shop getting new gears in the rear end, she has been running strong... so much more power then my 3.8L v6 mustang... so since I've got the new 06 gt I'm going to let my son have my 02 v6 mustang to drive... he taking driver's education in school and working on getting his license so when he does get them he will have a mustang for his first car..... wish my parents had gave me a mustang for my first car... lol
