Your list of Must Own Blu-Ray's
^In addition to the one's above, I was pleasantly surprised at imagery in Class of the Titans. Visually stunning, although I did not care much for the plot--which is of course, predictable. Lastly, get Avatar.
None.

Stupid. My DVDs don't need that, and I don't care about HD all that much. I can get that online anyway.
Further, my dad has/had software that was just fine... until the latest round of cat-mouse updates came along. The software for his HTPC *he already bought the year before*... was obsoleted, and he was told to upgrade and *pay full price again* or suck it. As such, the two Blu-Ray titles I bought him are rendered coasters, effectively. Very expensive coasters. It's kinda nifty to put your drink down on an "Avatar" disc though...
That, right there, is exactly why I'll never join the ranks of a Blu-Ray buyer... not until they stop that foolishness.

However, consider that having an HTPC would require you to BUY A NEW PROGRAM every year, apparently.
That's my protest. And do you think that Blu-Ray players aren't one day gonna be on that bandwagon? Methinks not. And it'll be retroactive. Mark my words.
/You only *thought* you were killing Divx boxes. You just delayed it.
My PS3 works just fine for bluray purposes.
+1 to pretty much everything that's been mentioned so far:
Star Trek
Avatar
Planet Earth
Dark Knight
I Am Legend (if for nothing more than the opening GT500 sequence, surround sound is a plus!)
If you're looking for places to buy Blu-rays at a decent price, I haven't found anything better than Amazon. They run a lot of specials and I don't think I've paid more than $20 for any Blu-ray through them, and that includes new releases.

I just picked up Beauty and the Best on Tuesday. My favorite childhood movie and one of the best(I think) Disney ever made. My bluray collection is seriously lacking. I've been meaning to pick up Sherlock Holmes, too.
None.
