I got the kids a remote control hummer, and a schwinn stingray for Christmas........I didn't want it hanging around here, so I stuck it on layaway. Last night I was changing purses, and grabbed the receipt. I had planned to grab the stuff like the 23rd. Receipt says- if items are not picked up by 12/16 you are SOL and no refunds.

I have an alero as you know...SO I made a mad dash to the store, and after folding the seats down, ACTUALLY FIT IT ALL IN!! That makes me officially DONE SHOPPING AND SHIPPING! I pull into the garage, and the kids come running out to see me. I KNOW they don't believe in the man in red anymore, but I want to keep up the illusion. Fortunately they didn't see. We hid the bike after playing with it for a while, the frigger is hard to ride-its a lowriding chopper bike. My son is obsessed with the orange county choppers- this is endorsed by them, hes going to pee himself.

Got hubby an acoustic geetar, a tuner and stand for the washburn and simpsons tv guides for his collection. I want a tanzanite ring, a deplhi sky fi 2 and more beads for my latest lucy and ethel scheme. (oh and a mustang, but no one who asks me what I want for Christmas seems willing to pony up)
Gotta send my MIL to Foxwoods to gamble for me one I guess.

all done! Even got the Mustang a couple of presents while in Ny (spoiler and K&N filter!!) It will be a happy car come Christmas day!

Haven't started yet. Was gonna start today, but my 91 wouldn't start. Battery didn't like the cold.

My 05 ain't goin near the mall, so guess I better buy a battery so I can get going.

I don't shop so officially, yeah, I'm done. The wife does all of our shopping. Her and I don't exchange gifts. This is gonna be my son's first x-mas, and we are all geeked about that. He's the first grandchild so, he is getting more gifts than all of us combined. What's kinda lame is he probably won't remember any of this and will probably cry when he sees Santa. Oh, well. Good times.

Sometimes hiding things in plain sight is a BADDDDDDDD idea....... I hid hubbys in plain sight in the garage.The kids santa presents are in a sealed box on the garage floor(hee hee, they don't even know!) Hubby never goes on my side of the garage. But..............

I was upstairs for some coffee and passed the stockings on the mantle........ Hmmm what the hades is in this one(mine) Did I leave something in there from last year? They are sposed to be empty. ooh a ring box..... Oh Crap, its for me. I didn't mean to see it(but its frigging spectacular!). Now I have to forget I saw it.

I am NOT finished shopping. I got my boyfriend a new cast net, ordered it via internet...easy. My parents are the hardest. I am not finished with them. My son wanted a Tig Rig for his welder and I have located it just not picked it up yet. My aunt called last night and said we are having Christmas at her house Sunday and I am only half finished with presents for them. So.......I know where I will be this time tomorrow, shopping. I have not wrapped the first present yet. :shock:

Yea it fit yes I tried it on, yes I closed it back and forgot I saw it. Its an aquamarine(or blue topaz :scratch: I get them confused) and diamond ring. The other day we were in Whitehall, and I drooled over like six rings, he told me he didn't like any of them so.......

I got an amethyst last Christmas, I am not bored with it yet. Not sure what to do, its for the same finger. I am a mans dream- I despise diamonds(except for my wedding ring), I love shiny colorful gemstones.

Wooohooo....I'm almost finished. One more trip to the mall on Wednesday and one more trip to WallyWorld and I should have it all wrapped up.
I swear Walmart has a monopoly on things around here. KMart went out of business here and if you don't go to the mall Walmart is all there is. It seems like I have given them ALL my money this year.

I was told not to get them anything since I had to move back from Iceland and pay for all the utility startups, rent, etc. I love my friends and family. Shhh, don't tell, they are going to get giftcards anyway.

Last nights adventure included finishing up......I wanted to go to Old Navy but the line was wrapped around the store twice-----no thank you. I went to Books A million for the bookworms.Jimmy Buffett has a new book out- anyone read it? Its got the same characters as the one that was unreadable. Old Navy is a trip for another day. I also have to get Eddie something. I am still pushing for a mustang........

We were eating and B. was talking about all the wonderful things he had got me- and hidden at his friends house EXCEPT FOR ONE! in a supersecret spot in the house..... I raised my eyebrows, he knows me well- D'OH! he knows I know! I had to confess about seeing something in the stocking.I swore I only took a peek,(or 2) and told him the blasted ring was very well.....extravagant- its not a never take off like my amethyst. However, Mr. Sneaky popped my trunk in the ten minutes I had his presents in there and noticed his stuff too....so there. I had to sneak and get him a guitar processor and gig pack to make up for it so someone could have some surprise. He must now in return learn Cocaine and the rain song for me.


I hate my extended family(that is anyone on my side outside my mama and Daddy)- really, because they are all frigging insane. So my mother called yesterday- Her sister insists I go out and purchase her newest stepkid a present(shes like Liz Taylor with marriage)........I said WTF for? I don't know this danged kid.......Well she said she was getting your kids something its only fair- Well I didn't ask her to.............what BS- oh and you must spend this much. This is the same freak who when the family drew names(where they insist you pay $25 but spend $10 on everyone else) insisted I write her latest POA a check for the full amount. Kiss my crack.
So I found out we would be playing a gift exchange game--------Where you pass presents around and keep the one you end with. I am purchasing a "back massager" from Spencer for mine just to be a smart aleck and exact a little revenge on a pack of people I only bear being around for my mother. My father told em all to stick it and refuses to even attend anymore. At least he has *****.

lol...I'm kinda in the same boat....This is my son's first Christmas too...not the first grandchild, but he's the only son of the only son, if you get my drift...So everyone is pretty excited, including him!

He's 9 months and up until a couple of weeks ago, would only say "Ma-ma-ma". Now I've got him saying "Ho-Ho-Ho"....it comes out more like "hmm-hmmm-hmmm", but it's SO darn cute...lol Plus he points at Santa and does it...lol

Crap, I'm getting geeked out now myself, aren't I? lol What are ya gonna do! I'm a proud Daddy!

Anyway....we're down to my Father and my Father-In-Law....so a quick trip to Lowe's and we're done.

My wife and I don't exchange...we buy each other a combined gift and this year it was a camcorder....should be a fun Christmas!

Maybe we can list your dumbest/strangest shopping experience this Christmas?

Here's mine: We're looking for a portable DVD player for my step-daughter and we find a Polaroid with a 10" adjustable screen....so my wife asks me to do "that price comparison thingy that you do" and I go to www.pricegrabber.com (awesome site!)....

They are running at $399.99 most places, but you have to dig through the ads for specials...so I see that Walmart has them for $298.99! $100.00 off, you can't beat it! So I tell my wife and say, order the thing, we're done....Nope, she wants to go to the store and pick it up...

So we drive over to Walmart and go to electronics....my wife finds the oldest man left alive and asks him to get one out of the case....He says he can't, because the lock on the case is broken and it won't open...So she comes over to me and asks me to get a manager...So I go and talk to the same guy and he tells me the same thing, plus I have to go up front to talk to a manager....So we talk to the manager and he tells me that it won't be opened until tomorrow, when the locksmith shows up. (She still can't figure out why he didn't make a management decision and just break the glass....lmao) My wife isn't happy, I tell her to just order it online...it's like 11:00pm now....

No, we're going to Sears the next day and they'll price match....oookaaaaaaaayyy...so I print out the walmart thing, make sure they have it at Sears before we go and head over...

Get to Sears...no DVD player. They don't sell it at that store. But that's not what your website says....the website is wrong....<rolling eyes>....So I tell my wife I have to go to bed (I work nightshift, yuck) and she's going to go over to a different Walmart...

She gets to Walmart and tells me that they are charging $399.98 in the store...my wife says but your website says $298.99, look, here's the printout...Oh, that's only online...My wife says then keep it....you don't still want it? I already rung it up!.....for $100.00 more? Are you kidding?

So, she comes home, orders it online and it should be here on Wednesday or Thursday...I didn't want to say I told you so, honey....then don't...lol

OMG..you have family like mine. My tree has a ton of presents under it and what we bring home you will be able to hold in one hand. It just keeps getting worse and worse every year. They just keep having babies or step kids. Your dad is a smart man. I get to go play that crap tonight.

On a side note, I saw a Screaming Yellow 05 V6 with black racing stripes yesterday. It was really beautiful in person. The guy had a group of people all around it. I liked the color ALOT better in person. I refuse to drive mine to the mall this time of year.

Congrats Paul & Dave on those babies. They are what make Christmas fun.

I hope your Walmart order gets to you on time. I almost ordered something from Bed Bath & Beyond online so I did not have to go back to the mall, but I was afraid it would not get here in time.

I spent their christmas present money at the casino. Screw em. I will give them a quarter cup from the slots in place.

I am DONE. I got the pedal for the geetar online from musicians friend. It will arrive tomorrow. The others are hidden safely away. Everyone on my list......and the one who insisted on cash? I am paying him in pennies. Dictate to me what to get you and I Don't even know you.........

Now I need my rich Granny on my dads side to write me a check for $44,000 so I can bring home two new fords.

B. normally gets likkered up, and if my Dad must show up they take a nip together. Someone always fights.........There is always someone going to the devil for being unchristian(usually me, like with the rumball incident then the wench who told me it wound up giving everyone the frigging flu I hate her). Infighting, This is officially my last year doing it. From now on, we are going to...........New York for white Christmases and a sane family and our best friends who alllll get along.

I am SO not looking forward to Christmas eve. Christmas, nother story, April gots a blue topaze(Hades or is it Aquamarine? Its aqua anyway) with Diamonds to put on her hand
