Yeah, my designs are "real" jets (ducted fans), but they are electric. No fires unless the packs blow up! That video is a swing-wing turbine. It's exotic even by turbine standards, it typically costs 15k to 20k to get into an entry level turbine with all the associated gear. That one is probably closer to 30k! You have to be certified to fly turbines too. R/C can be pricey, but turbines are more expensive by several orders of magnitude.
