I have a potential to make money.........
When I sit around here bored I make purses and bracelets and all kinds of stuff.
I have a closetful of it.

Problem is, the booth costs $100. If I don't make my money back I am screwed. Its in a city park, and the whole community will be there, plus rides and games.

Is it worth it or not?

Go for it. If you never try, you'll never know if you can make money on it.

I'd say $100 is a small investment for a potential business.

Market them as limited edition. When the first one sells for $100, lower the price.

Green is my color

It cost me $100 to buy the booth. And I spent like $50 buying stuff to make more things.
I made $160 yesterday. BUT I got rained out at 4. BUT that meant I got to go home and see the end of the Ballgame.

Today anything I make is pure profit.

Tee hee. I bought these fuzzy scarves at the Dollar tree for a buck. I churched them up with fancy fringe on the ends that I had laying around from scrap yarn. I turned around and sold the snot out of them for $5 each.

I had three shawls I made for myself from yarn I had lying around- Sold the crap out of them also.

And Wire Dragonflies- sold the crap out of them too and you make them out of leftover beads.

NOW I gotta unload the jewelry and the rest of the purses from which the scraps to make the stuff above came from.

Huh? You made $160 the day prior...and you said your total cost was $150. So, $10 profit first day.

Then day 2...
you only sold $5???

I made diddly crap. Saturday I made $150.
Yesterday I made $25
For a grand total of $175- 8 for lunch.

I am stark raving pissed off about it too- because "its going to be HUGE"
Bs- false advertising.

So I stuck it all on Fleabay:

That sucks, but hey... at least nobody can say ya did'nt try, but betting you wont bother with it again. Now that I look back, $100 bucks seems a little pricey for a spot, how many spots did they sell, they probally made out like bandits. Where did this $100 fee end up, hope to a good cause or something, that may make it a little easier to swallow.
