take that you stupid summer hw assignments!! i finsidhed!!!!!! the night before school starts! lol
heres what arin had to do:
AP bio:
read jane goodall book
write 3 page essay
read 8 chapters in txt bvook
take notes
answer all Q's at the end
then do a study guiude
THEN do not one but TWO 2'x4' posters on usels crap
AP hist
read 4 chapters
take notes
read book on other dude
AP English
read two more books
:sigh: i am done. i am happy. i need sleep

HE DIDNT EVEN WANT TO COLLECT IT he said "oh that? turn it in like next week. wait, i assigned an essay too? wtf? TEN CHAPTERS?! i gave you TEN CHAPTERS?! heck i was on vacation!"

Well, I guess you learned an important lesson.
Teachers are lazy like the rest of us. $10 says he doesn't even look at the essays (He'll probably give like a check just for having done it).
One thing I learned in school, if the teacher assigns what you think is way too much, do about half of it. He won't believe how much he assigned, won't collect it all, or will extend the deadline. And most of the class won't even do half of it, so you still come out looking good by being lazy, just not as lazy as everyone else.

I am digging this new school- Its like Goldilocks said- JUST RIGHT.
They actually do school work- and don't leave it all to be done at home.
Last year my kids had about 3 hours of homework a night each. That sucked.
That was also the school I went too- too many WTF memories there.
The Freaking mascot is an eagle though and school colors are blue and white.
