Wisconsin Tourism Federation Changes Its Name After WTF Jokes
The Wisconsin Tourism Federation, often referred to by the acronym WTF, will now be known as the Tourism Federation of Wisconsin.
The lobbying coalition of local trade groups has been actively involved in various levels of promoting Wisconsin tourism since 1979, but recent internet ridicule about the logo, which prominently featured "WTF", prompted the group to change it's name, according to the Telegraph.
All references to WTF have been updated to TFW on the Web site, including the logo, although there is a note that the tourism federation was formerly known as WTF.
