Why are manufacture dates referred to as "born?"
On the forums, sometimes I see the manufacture date of a car as "born." When something is born, it comes out of a vagina - right?
Otherwise its hatched out of an egg. :rofl2: Moderators please don't kick me off. Its just a body part. :D |
An egg is NOT a body part.
 Let's get 'im, people! :spank:  :kick: :brick: :slap: :bonk: :fuss: :jasonandscott: :banned: :goodbye: :catfight: :al: /wait, what's that last one doin' there..? |
I don't know exactly when my Mustang was born, but when I got it there was a hand print on it's a$$ from where the QC tech slapped it.

I thought that was kind of cool to find out Glad I wasn't working the assembly line that day The car would have 3 headlights and no motor |

People tend to anthropomorphize their cars by naming their cars, referring to them as "she", etc. In that case, born on date makes sense.
