The kind of car I drive, a 1991 5.0 Country Squire Wagon. My first and second favorite car (besides the Mustang)

 

Ive been coldfire on most boards I hang out on, just didnt seem right for the Mustang one. Thunder Road was my online racing team for Gran Turismo and Grsn Turismo 2. We won the GTXR series 3 straight times unseating previously unbeaten Xtreme/Fusion Racing. It was comprised of 'hybrid' cars or hot rods for a better word using various parts from different cars to make ultra race cars.

 

mine is the Shelby model and SN for my 68' GT500KR, those numbers are like a personal name for the cars when searching thru the Shelby World Registery

 

I picked it as an AOL IM chat name when i was like 10.... it has stuck ever since..... I just use it on all forums I go to.

Well My first name Is Manuel and my last name starts with an E. I joined the together and got ManE.
It also is what my buddies call me, Manny. It looked plain and added hawk for no reason. So it's also ManE, as in main hawke. Yah know the master

It's dead because most people don't come to The Mustang Source for 'off topic chatter.' I doubt most of us even look here, probably stay mostly in 2005 Mustang, and since that's the hottest topic on this board it's nice for us 'regulars' to learn about each other - provides a sence of community.
As evidence:
Currently Off Topic Chatter = 731 Topics and 18,315 Replies
Currently 2005 Mustang = 9,237 Topics and 157,292 Replies

Further, in the 31 hrs that this thread was in 2005 Mustang there were 145 posts, averaging 4.7 posts per hour (people were enjoying it), and in the 11 hrs since it has been moved there have been 3 posts (other than ours), averaging less that one post for every 3 hours.

Oh well, I guess , and if I don't like it I can start my own board, but I won't, I still like this one.

See, I never look in a particular forum. I always use 'My Assistant' or 'view new posts', because its much easier to view than click on each forum.

I thought most people used this method as well.

I have a Bullit which has no wing so I use x-wing.

 

In 1997 I started my own business buying and selling cars (closed it in 2001). I came up with the name of Carpro Auto Purchasing but then decided to use the K instead of the C in carpro because my wife and at the time newly born daughter's names both started with a K. I've used it for a screen name since 97. It is also how I try to conduct myself in my career.

 

Its had a certain ring to it... :P The 311 was just added on there for kicks.

my name is harry.
the harrier jet is a vertical take off and landing capable jet. i always thought it aweome and fascinating that a jet could take off and fly vertically.

i love first person shooter games. and harrier sounds like a military nickname.

i feel your pain, dirty dave. my friends at one time wanted to nickname me dirty harry. it didn't stick though.

my email is hi_harrier. dozens of ppl have harrier as their nicknames. and i didn't want to be just another #, such as harrier45, which had no real meaning.

so i chose hi_harrier for my email name.
1. hawaii's abbreviation is HI. that is where i hail from.
2. hi=hello.

so when my friends email me, it's like they are saying "hello harry in hawaii." :-P

i wanted my license plate to read, "P-51" but the DMV said no license plates w/ the letter "P" followed by numbers were allowed. crikey. ford named its mustang car after the WWII, P-51 mustang plane to pay homage to it.
