Before i bought my GT I looked at both a GT and a Camro for my car. I got the quote from ford first then went to a chevy dealership to ask about pricing. Needless to say the Camaro cost'd a great deal more than the mustang similarly equid. I asked the women why the Camaro cost more than the mustang and all she could say is "its a better car". Now I expected this response but didn't expect that she wouldn't even go into detail why its better. I told her the mustang was less weight and that the camaro only had what? 15 more hp than the mustang, and that in the end they're performance when compared wasnt too far off from each other. So performance aside what made it the better car worthy of taking over 4k more of my money? All she had to go on was looks, but im not going to say im willing to spend 4-5k more on looks alone. needless to say i found it laughable their base model v6 cost 27k three more K and you could have bought a 5.0.

I'll be frank. The Mustang kills the Camaro in looks. The Camaro has a fat rear end and a sloped front grill area. Not very hot looking. Don't get me wrong, the LS3 is a great power plant and all, but I want looks AND power. Before I bought the Roush, I was looking at ZL1's and the 1LE's as well.
Glad I bought the Mustang.

 

Well Frank, I would have to agree with you - and I have owned both. I traded in a 2011 Camaro for the 2013 GT/CS. More now than ever, the Mustang is just a superior looking vehicle. The new tail lights of the Camaro are absolutely hideous.
