Yes, that would be Sandy. Sorry about your cat. I can't imagine loosing mine. I've never been this so close to a pet before.

I suppose.

There are people here to learn from. Goodness knows I learned what little I know from here. It just takes time and alot of reading. Plus doing a little wrenching on your car doesn't hurt.

Just start little and work your way up. Before I got my car, I didn't really know how to do anything.

Just start with something basic like changing a light bulb, then move on to something like changing the oil.

Not that I recommend this, but I didn't know anything about golf carts till I took one apart. Now I even know how to put it back together.

Of course this is ridiculous. A car is more important than a golf cart and you;d be screwed if you took it apart. But find some how-to's on something like an oil change or a headlight like Nathan said and then work your way into it. You really should learn though so when you are completely on your own in the world some mechanic doesn't take advantage of you buy telling you your Johnson rod is broke and requires a new flux capacitor or something. It's good to know a little bit about as much as you can in life. IMHO

Its good that you are desirous to learn. That's the first step.
