Why do all the idiots all move into the left lane as soon as traffic starts backing up?

 

Jefferson Avenue, Newport News Virgnia - 'nuff said (even though its three lanes, as your progress from right to left, it tends to get slower and slower). Or just as bad, I64 around the same area where it narrows from 4 lanes to 2 over probably 6-10 miles. People who should have migrated into the right lane stick around in the left for another 4 or 5 miles and you end up with the right lane moving faster than the left. But wait it gets even better! In the same area is probably one of the most brillant highway designs I have ever seen, the cloverleaf from Jefferson to I64 features a 2 lane feeder road, perhaps 1.5 top 2 miles long and people actually ride out the length of the road well under the speed limit of the ajoining highway merging onto the highway at less than the posted speed limit - it boggles the mind?????????? and this is with a substantial merge lane. Equally mind boggling are the people who in this area comprised of 3 lanes on the highway get thier knickers in a twist and prevent people from merging at speed rather than simply changling lanes and allowing the smooth flow of traffic.

Its firmly created the belief in my mind that people must hate thier home and work lives so much that its preferable to waste fuel and sit a traffic jam than it is to spend time at work or with thier families.

One specific BK nearby, Taco Bell for it's supreme fries , Baby bull (it's not actually fast food, but I like it), Wendy's for it's jr. bacon burger, and for last Church's chicken, for the honey buiscuits & their chicken wrap

Outside of city limits so I can play with fire, fuses and things that go boom in the night.

Well I got 7 tattoos since early April. And my boss told me that I stop getting them she won't give me any extra work.

does anyone know the difference between the (Not the Boss) 429 Cobra Jet and 428 Cobra Jet??

 

Two different architectures, the 429 is a "385" series engine and the 428 is an "FE", IIRC the 428 CJ debuted in a limited run of 68 Mustangs and was commonly available in the 69-70 cars (both Mustang and Torino). The 429 CJ might have been an across the board engine for all of Ford's hi-po BB cars (Mustang, Torino, ect) I'm not sure as for intial introduction. Also IIRC the CJ engines featured upgraded rod bolts, and bigger cams in conjunction with a 4v intake and maybe bumped compression and upgrade exhaust manifolds.

I'm sure somebody will chime in with more accurate info.
