What's the DEAL with MV?

"... I am innocent..."

"... I was helping relatives who took advantage of my generosity..."

"... I will have my day in court..."

"... I will be vindicated..."

"... I will clear my name..."

VICK ACCEPTS DEAL, WILL PLEAD GUILTY!

"... Mr. Vick has agreed to enter a plea of guilty to those charges and to accept full responsibility for his actions and the mistakes he has made," Martin said in a statement. "Michael wishes to apologize again to everyone who has been hurt by this matter..."

"I will go to prison."

im glad the courts wasted so much time on this, i mean why would we want to prosecute murderers, rapist, and other violent scum, instead lets worry about some dead dogs.

imho anybody who electrocutes, hangs, and tortures an animal is a scumbag, and should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. especially when this type of treatment is in the name of entertainment. I am not some wierd *** animal rights freak, I am just your regular average guy, but michael vick is a role model to allot of our youth. role models set an example, and when that example is a bad example it is paramount that justice be done otherwise the precedent is set that you can be a rich scumbag and get away with anything. too much BS goes unpunished...

Well said Faber! Asa, that response you said, "some dead dogs" is just sad on your part, and shows you have no compassion or sympathy. What he did, he deserves to rot behind bars. Just remember, dogs are domesticated animals, and have rights too. I like dogs (don't own any, but my mom has a fantastic little Boston Terrier), and what Mike Vick did was just sickening. Enjoy jail #7, hope you use your speed to stay away from your fellow inmates.

i've got dogs and cats love animals, but there are more pressing things than spending so much time on this , we know he is guilty there is no getting around it. proscute him jail him and its done. the "some dead dogs" remark is just that they are just animals not people, i have a soft heart, but there is no point in dwelling on it they're dead nothing we can do. Animals do have rights, but should not be put on the level of human rights like they are. abuse should be delt with, murder of them should be dealt with but not put on the front pages like it is. i would rather hear about the child rapist/ molester getting freed, or thrown in jail rather than hear someone complain about MV and his dog fights.

Well, it will all be over by Monday when the judge gives the sentence. Would you rather it go to trial and waste big $$$$ for no real reason (we all know he did it), or just cop the plea, and get it over with (which is what is happening). Justice isn't done in a day just remember that.

true its not done in a day, my beef is why should it get front page status, but if i did the same thing it would make local news for a day! He's not even that important unless you got money ridin on him. he's not a senator, rep, govenor, he's a guy that gets paid to much to play a game that 1 mil other people would play for free just because they love the game. what he did was wrong and he is going away 18months not long enough in my opinion should be 3-5 like a normal person would get. go look at what happened in the news while this "hearing" was going on. Things in Iraq, your home state, that maybe should've had a little more attention.

The reason its Front page news is because its Micheal Vick. If I did the same thing he did, National News would not care.

that would be nice but you doing a crime doesn't sell papers like michael vicks doing it.

Even though newspapers report news...their main concern is making money.
