I guess a 400 mile long drive could be considered long through some states, as the speed limit is not quite up to par with Texas in all places across the country.

8 hours or longer is where I start to draw a line, and anything over 10 is most certainly long.

My fricken 2014 is starting to turn into a rattle trap also! It's so disappointing. My Escape is a rattle trap. My 00 and 03 Mustangs were rattle traps. I would've expected Ford to have their sh*t together in 2014. I guess that was too much to ask.

Btw don't get dynamat. It's good stuff, but there's cheaper/better alternatives out there now. I really like the Cascade Audio Engineering tiles. Much stretchier and easier to get into the nooks and crannies. Also easier to remove later. Check out sounddeadenershowdown.com too, for more info on sound deadening.

I know there's cheaper stuff out there. Just easier to say dynamat. It's like Kleenex or Coke, etc. It used to be really cheap on amazon. I got enough to do my notch's doors and trunk with still a couple sheets left over. Now it's super pricy.
