Only 3 miles. Nice night, I wanted the exercise. I forget the tuner, but they specialize in trucks. My transmission was going funky. I loaded the tune myself. Letting my local mechanic sort it out. Happy to give him the business. Maybe I've learned a lesson.

 

Texting a friend about what happened in school, the local K-9 unit came in to check for drugs, people got lucky, they couldn't find any traceable evidence to anyone. The dogs were barking though, so they probably found something

 

My transmission goes funky without the tune.

Just disconnect the battery for a little while and the reconnect it. It's the funky transmission learning thing.

 

I'll try that next time. It was intermittent. I found if I stopped and killed the ignition it would stop doing it. But when it would only do 5th gear I decided to take it in. Anyway I needed the oil changed and tires rotated, plus a new cover for the gas filler.

Had the DD towed today thought my water pump broke but it ended up only being a frozen water pump tensioner! She's back on the road already! :-)
