I was going to answer but it was so obvious that a caveman could figure it out.

I'm spending most of the day sitting outside with a hammer and shovel trying to break the inch thick layer of ice that is covering my steep driveway so I might be able to leave the house if I need to.

If I don't break the ice up I'm probably going to end up in my neighbors back yard if I try to move my car out of the garage.

Mmmm. Cracker Barrell. Get a table next to the fireplace! Also, pick up some Mustang goodies in the gift shop.

What's that?

I have a bigass shovel with a hardened tip that makes an excellent chisel.

Close.

I have one of these:

The tip is a little more flat on mine though, so it works well to break up sheets of ice on concrete.

Temps are above freezing now so everything is starting to melt pretty quick. I've got 4 wide trenches cut through the ice on the driveway letting the melt water run underneath the remaining ice. Hopefully with the remiaing ice melting from top and bottom my driveway will be ice free by the end of the day.

I'll trade you. You can come bang on ice with a shovel for a while and I'll go have someone else cook me a nice hot meal.
