Tough choice. I like almost every Mustang but since my very first NEW car was a 1982 GT, I voted for that 1980's category.. The ownership of that car, with the patriotic feel of the Reagan years, is tough to beat.

My best Mustang was a 1965 Mustang C-code that I upgraded to a vintage race car:

Great car.

Tough call on this one.
I obviously love the old school muscle, but I also love the 90's Foxbody cars and the S197 cars.

For myself personally, I would have to go with the 1st gen 65-70 fastback models, followed by the retro styled 2005-14 S197 models.

I agree except my flat-plan-crank 2019 Shelby GT350 may disagree.

Thanks.

I love my ICE cars. No doubt.

I'd never buy an EV or a hybrid car. JMO and my cash money.

I am buying some nice old ICE cars going forward.as a bet against the future of the boring government EV and hybrid cars.

Yup, ICE for me too!

But, my favorites are 1964-1971 & 2011-2019. But those are the decades that I actually owned one. And those are the ones that I would lean to if buying another. So far.

1964 1/2 - 1970 (V8s-bigger the better) Preferred for this bunch
2011 - 2014 favorite late models (GT & GT500)
2019 GT350
2020 GT350
Not a ranking, but those I prefer.

The latest GT500 is very much out of reach for me.
