If you haven't, you need to go through their catalog of music. It some good ****, they are fantastic on the electric songs, probably even better than the acoustic stuff. Here's a good place to start. (open this in a new window, I think its a playlist with pretty much the whole show down here at the Georgia Theater.)
They are the real deal. They have picked up where true Southern rock left off 40 years ago. These guys are true musicians, true artists. Its damned good stuff.
I hope you get to see them. I'd say it would be better than the headliner for a true music aficionado.

Hey Lee, check these guys out. They are from just a bit down the road from Bham. Beitthemeans (Be It The Means). I saw them open for Brother Cane back last year, been listening to their stuff more. Kinda Metal/Southern Rock/Punk, but the guy playing lead can actually play pretty dang good, and a very bluesy background to it.
Decent song for live. They have a lot of other good stuff. I ended up buying both of their albums and the studio stuff is very enjoyable.
edit: another good one I really like.

Heroin. Hell of a drug. Its good for a little while. Actually its good for a long while. But then everything goes down hill. And quickly.
Prime example.
Prime example.
Taking heroin is like being asked how you'd like to be executed, then choosing a sledgehammer to the chest. There are plenty of things that will kill you, but nothing will kill you like heroin. It will pick you up higher than just about anything, and it will throw you down so hard that any death becomes a mercy.

I saw too many of my friends go from friends to shells with skin wrapped over them because of various kinds of drug use. I never believed I was going to be strong enough to walk away from them, especially if some of my closest friends couldn't, so I never tried them. Fortunately I'm not addicted to alcohol, because I had a different perspective on that when growing up.

Amazing is the only word I can use to describe this song. I always enjoy listening to it, especially while driving at night.

As well as tomorrow morning. They do "flash back" every sat morning and review a particular year for 4 hours. A history lesson with music. Pretty cool.
