Holy Wars... The Punshment Due- Megadeth!

 

Dammit Nate, I hated modern country, but now I love this band. Killer sound, love the banjo, the bass fiddle, and the blonde chic can belt out the notes. I'd heard the Pontoon song and thought it was just a gimmick, a one hit wonder type, but after listening to more of their stuff, they kick ***. Great freaking band. Apologies Nate.

I normally frown upon covers of siht that I hold sacred, but I have to let this one pass, especially given the dual lead guitar in the bridge after the second verse. You do it justice boys, still can't compare to One More From the Road, live at the fabulous Fox theater in Atlanta of the original, but it still gets a thumbs up from me.

Love that song. It was covered a couple years ago by some bs band. Stained maybe and they sucked at it. That cover there was pretty good.

 

I like that hes not afraid of the PC police and doesn't mind strutting out on stage with a lit cigarette in his mouth. And they are a kick *** band to boot.


If I can get a DD I'll see them next weekend.
