A year or two ago I started hearing this song in a Kingsford charcoal commercial. Couldn't figure out what it was for a while, but finally it hit me, it was Fascination by Human League. Never cared for the original, but this cover of it in the commercial really caught my attention. Love the slowed down feel of it, especially the chorus.

I prefer the original. But I do like the commercial. One thing I discovered being in a band is that when doing a cover its almost always most effectual to change the tempo and make it different but still the same.
Usually you can't do better copying the original band, but you can do different and most audiences respect that.

Been listening to this more lately, since Hatfield's and McCoy's starts Monday night on History.
