Haha, very funny.
Unless you ever owned or even drove a Yugo, I don't think you should post topics like this. Because Yugo is a lot better car than most of the people give him credit. I dad used to own 2 Zastava 101 (better version of Yugo) and it was a lot better car than my Ford Escort, which we bought when we first moved to the States.

 

 

Usually, when something gains a reputation...it is deserved (as with old English cars and bad electronics...)

Now, I imagine Yugos (like any cars) were fine if properly maintained, otherwise...crapola

Where I'm from Yugo have really good reputation. I guess only Americans have problems with Yugo. But on the other side, Yugo never had as many recalls as Ford Focus did and Yugo's engine never died with 24,000 miles on it like it used to happen on Dodge Neon.

Most of cars are good when properly maintained. On the other hand, some of them have problems even if you take really good care of them (like my Mustang and theft system problems at 22,000 miles).
