Funny you should ask, because lately - out of the blue - I'm getting two types:

1. Blank ones, completely blank: no sender, no subject, no header info, etc. Started getting them about two weeks ago.

2. Stupid gibberish subjects: goofiness like "Teal Sanguine Timer Real Archive" and "Ratified Bakery Dubious Pilfer".



They'll have attachment icons. I've clicked on a few, early on, and it's ALWAYS some sort of herbal **** enlarger or "HUGE DISCOUNTS ON LEVITRA!!!". It's not junk mail anymore, it's Pecker Mail...because every single one involves the pen!s in some way: make it bigger, make it harder, make it longer, make it learn Spanish, make it earn $10,000 in its spare time, refinance your pen!s, inherit billions from a Nigerian pen!s, etc.

Spammers are obsessed with the male genetalia, it seems.

Everything now - except for friends, family, co-workers or companies I actually deal with (Apple, Verizon, Scottrade and about 3-5 others) - gets labeled "Junk", and I look at it every few days to make sure nothing legit has slipped through.

Oh and apparently My Paypal, Chase Manhattan, WaMu and Ebay account are in danger of being suspended because a foreign IP address accessed them, I must click here to verify my information. I don't even have any of those accounts

I have several private messages from a MR. Chang,And apparently my ***** is too small and I have also been pre approved for MANY new cars and mortgages.

 

Are you getting spam throgh PM's on here??? If so, let me know immediately as that will not be tolerated.

I get about 30 spam messages a day... on EACH OF MY 9 different e-mail accounts

 

I have been getting 2 paypal suspension warnings a day for the last month!!

Bad thnig is if I tell outlook they are Junk then the real emails from paypal get blocked. Oh well, they put a delete key on the keyboard might as well use it!!

 

No I am not getting TMS spam- Just way too much Natcomm spam.

I had to stop using Outlook and go to my companies webmail. That was a PITA moving evertything, but webmail has a spam filter, and it got tedious blocking by line. The worst thing was I would get an email looking legit from so and so at natcomm dot net and it isn't even someone who works there- and it was spam selling something. I don't know how they pulled that off.

I have a hotmail address I use for registering on sites, and I get about 80 a day on there. Its freaking ridiculous. Those are nuts.

Spam is big on FREE RINGTONES lately too. That and the old nigerian phone scam.

What? The Nigerian things is a scam? I just gave them all my financial info and am waitiing for all that money to show up in the next few days. each day I get at least 10 emails about some stock that is going to rise massivly over the next few weeks, funny thing is, they comply with the SEC rules (stating that the company is unlikely to ever make any money and that your investment is likely to fail!)

 

The blank ones are sent out to see if the address is "active". They are testing the water. If you open it, they know it has been opened and then add your address to their "active" list, thereby deluging you with crap!

If you don't know who it is from, delete it!

 

I got the blank ones with outlook. Another reason I went to Webmail.
