For sure! I got in to the books after seeing SAHARA. Thought the movie was ok, and since there were so many books, it made for lots of good reading. Matthew McConaughey made a good Dirk IMO, but their "Al" didn't fit the image at all. It's gonna suck trying to find a nice long series of books as good as the Dirk Pitt novels, though.

Currently reading, "Ultimate Speed Secrets: The Complete Guide to High-Performance and Race Driving" by Ross Bentley and waiting on delivery of, "How to Drift: the Art of Oversteer" by Paul Morton.
Just finished "Punching out" one year in a closing auto plant by Paul Clemens..one great book and an eye opener! I'm now onto " Car Guys vs Bean Counters " by Bob Lutz, very good sofar.
