Whadidya Get For Christmas?
Anyone get anything interesting for Christmas? Post a picture.
Joint gift for me and Mrs Patrick was a trailer to haul our kayaks
It is very light (130#), can hardly tell it is behind the vehicle when towing. Plus it will fold up so you can store it against the wall. A Yakima kit that I assembled.
So I guess I should be able to install my MGW shifter. (There you go Erich_Boss1409, saved you the trouble of a reply)

Drove by yesterday and they had a lot of deliveries from the transport but not mine. They were closed yesterday anyway.

I never want anything for Christmas except my family to be gathered so we can watch the kiddos destroy wrapping and/or boxes. And eat. And world peace. That last is very difficult to achieve, but I never stop wanting it.
So I got what I wanted, mostly, this year, again:
Family gathered? Check.
Eat? Yep.
Kids destroy wrapping and such, and also squees of 'yay!'? Gotcha.
Then I also wound up with a Mr. Spock shirt where he's posed like a homie with his Vulcan salute hands all sideways and at his hip level, and it says "Trek yourself before you wreck yourself." Which is awesome as I'm a Trekkie. (Not a Trekker, they're overboard for me..) I'm totally wearin' this.
Aaand, I got a Trek 2009 2 Disc DVD, which is good because now I have a pristine copy that'll be worth 25 dollars in 20 years maybe. I have another, but it's DVD doesn't work... I'm tempted to open this, but won't. I have a standard 1 disc that does work, and that's ok for me.
Aaand I got a $25 Amazon card. Nice. Don't spend much there, but I'll find something.
AAAND... I got a Mustang TShirt with a 72, I think, Boss as well as a Termi Cobra on it, and the '72 has a "HrsPwr" license plate on it.
It was good, since I didn't want anything. And the kids and my brother (who's I name pulled outta the hat this year) liked the stuff I got them, so all is well. I'm a happy camper.
/Now, if only we can get that whole whirled peas thing done, I'd be set.
//tl;dr: You asked, I answered, as is my wont, with many breaths.
