Went shooting with my buddies

Dunno how many of you care, but I went down to a range the other day with some friends and got some decent video. this is my first outdoor range, and while theres no footage of it, it was also my first time trap shooting.. which is AWESOME

We had among us:
Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine 7.62x54R
M1 Garand 30-06
Gov't issue 1911 .45 ACP
Glock 21 .45 ACP
Reck .22 revolver
I forget the brand, but my friends Pump 12 guage
Interstate Side by Side 12 gauge

The last one, my side by side, wasnt allowed for trap shooting because the barrel was too short and would be too loud. theres no footage of the pump bec i didnt get any footage of the trap shooting. the only shots of the .22 were taken by a friend who couldnt operate the camera, and consequently, didnt actually tape it lol

soo....

There are a few more vids... but unfortunately youtube has decided to die on me, so just clock on my profile and see if you can view some more

I have a m44 carbine and a 1891/30. Both shoot 6-10" groups at 200 yards.

I would tell you my groupings... but i dont know them lol. We all shared the gun each round so when we went out to the target, all our hits were on the target, and all over. no one could say who made what shots lol

Shooting is a good stress reliever, go out and fire off a few rounds, it always makes you feel better. Especially when it's a pump action shotgun.

I like Winchesters, the older the better. My favorite, a model 1886 rifle in 45-70. Big bullit, big damage. Low velocity = fun to shoot.

I've been to range once, with my dad. We took an AR-15A2 and a Thompson 1911, both hadn't been fired in years. I actually rebuilt the 1911 cuz my dad had taken it apart to replace a part and he couldn't put it back together. After that he gave it to me as a reward for fixing it.

We've been meaning to go back with my dad's HK 93 and Sig P220, but we just haven't had the time.

The serial # dates this gun to a build date in 1891.

sweet!

I have yet to fire that one, I've enver bought any powder or aanything.

I was thinking of converting it to fire 45 LC but you're not supposed to convert guns with brass frames. I think I mahy end up buying a steel frame 1858 remington repro and buying the conversion cyl for that. Of coruse, thats going to run me almost $500. I have to decide if its worth it to buy that or to just wait til I'm 21 and get a handgun then. Since this gun is Black Powder, I was able to buy it just like that

black powder is a blast! its loud and smokie..... mine is pretty accurate too.

i carry it as a side arm deer hunting. hehehe

if you shoot it remember to pack the cylinders with some kind of grease like crisco, after the round is in of course.

this will prevent it from misfiring all the other cylinders at once.

Yeah I heard about doing that. I remmeber going to the gun store, and ebuying a CO2 revolver. then my friend went to the counter, and asked about something, and i looked at the revolvers, and he said "want one of these?" I said i was only 18, and he said "so? this is a non gun" I then siad "well I just bought this CO2 revolver" and he made the point that "you can never have too many guns"

For $150, SOLD! lol. First thing I did when I got home was try and figure out how to load it. I need to get some ammo for this sucker. Is yours a .36 or a .44?
