On the navigation bar, the flyover menu shouldn't be right where the pointer is, it should be a little below is so it does not cover up the bar.

Good job avoiding flash crapola. Loads quick.

i'm actually gonna get rid of the flyouvers...I found out they play havoc with the search engines

Looks good.
I might consider a subtle background texture. The grey looks pretty bland. Centering the whole thing vertically might help.

I would also consider rounding the right edge of the nav bar and making it span the entire width of the top "header" graphic. It looks a bit chopped off for no reason.

As far as the flyouts are concerned, and am not sure what you mean by causing havoc with Search engines. I have done many sites with absolutely no problem. At worst, you can do a "hidden" <DIV> with the other links.

Oh, and good luck getting emplyment!!!
