Once again my office where I work is an Aircraft Carrier.

I report in to work tomorrow so the postings will start getting a little slow. I'm sure April can pick up the slack. Having a 30 day plus vacation has been nice but it's time to get back to work.

Those things scare me- I went up top on the Kennedy once, and nearly peed myself in fright because of the height and no safety rails.

Hubby was on the USS ramage until 1996........I remember those Norfolk days well. Do me a favor and go to bay days & the neptune festival for this fall for me.

 

If I'm in port I will. This is my third tour on an Aircraft Carrier. I was on the USS CARL VINSON for two different 3 1/2 year tours. Good times.

mmmmm Virginia......My boy is technically a Virginian born during a hurricane on Langley AFB(but eech it makes my girl a Californian).
Enjoy it up there MUCH for me. They have just enough snow to enjoy it and not so much you never wanna see it again, and real summers too.

My uncle served on the Kitty Hawk for 20 years. I loved going up on the Flight deck, and he wasnt kidding when he said it was a floating city!

I do like to watch Star Trek "Next Generation" every now and then but not a fanatic. I'm worried there will be a bunch of Star Trek geeks on there because of the name alone.

 

I have no idea where or when the ship is going anywhere. I just moved from Iceland so pretty much anywhere is warmer. Thanks everyone.

You kidding? When I was younger all I wanted in life was to spend the rest of it hopped up close to a tomcat. I used to spend all day sitting under the runway at Oceana watching them land or out on the pier watching them play......My most favoritest thing in the world.

I was on an old British battleship once (it had been converted to civvie duty), and I gotta say being at sea is an awesome experience. Have fun :usa:

 

I was on Oceana today watching the F-18's flying around. They are up right now too, I can hear them flying.

 

Oh, as for the kicking???? You make us men cringe just saying it in fun. :shock:
