alright here's one that hopefully will be more useful
When you can't go to sleep try this.
Inhale slowly for 4 to 5 seconds count it off in your head
then exhale slowly for the same amount of time and count it off also.
keep doing this. It mimics your breathing pattern while your sleeping. It also gets your mind off of everything else but counting to 4 and breathing.

Don't spit in the wind, and don't tug on Superman's cape.
No, really, this one:
When you're shopping and they give you those plastic bags? Don't let them tie them, and don't tie them the same way you tie knots. Make the first cross over, then thread the 'handles' back and forth through themselves a couple of times. The bags WILL NOT unravel, and they'll stay 'closed', until you get home. Whereupon, you can almost every time 'unzip' them pretty easily by pulling the handles apart.
There. No ripping the bag apart to get the stuff out of them, and they won't spill everything in your trunk.
/And don't mess around with Jim.
