Hey, Folks-

For those of you who have CD burners (probably almost everyone by now), you can burn a CD with about 16 songs on it (128kbs, of course! none of that <96 stuff for our systems...)

What would be your ultimate driving mixed CD? Name the song and the band, up to 16 entries.

Thanks!

This mix was good for at least one traffic stop on the NYS Thruway. Results may vary.

I actually have an MP3 disc with over 9 hours worth of CD-quality (320kbs) music in my car's cd player right now and I haven't taken it out in almost a week. But since this thread states to only pick 16 songs, I'll try to narrow it down a bit (I'm more of a punk/hardcore/emo guy, so forgive me if you don't know some of these bands). Here goes:

1. "Girl's Not Grey" - AFI
2. "Reinventing Your Exit" - Underoath
3. "What It Is To Burn" - Finch
4. "My Own Summer (Shove It)" - The Deftones
5. "Stinkfist" - Tool
6. "Right Side of the Bed" - Atreyu
7. "Autumn's Monologue" - From Autumn To Ashes
8. "Weak and Powerless" - A Perfect Circle
9. "The Outsider" - A Perfect Circle
10. "Waiting For The Heavens" - Eighteen Visions
11. "Bound For The Floor" - Local H
12. "Identity Crisis" - Thrice
13. "Godspeed Us To Sea" - Every Time I Die
14. "Until The Day I Die" - Story Of The Year
15. "Buried Myself Alive" - The Used
16. "Broken" - Seether feat. Amy Lee of Evanescence
17. "So Far Away" - Staind (sorry, had to throw it in cuz it's a good song)

These are just some of the songs I listened to on the way home from school tonight, while I was stuck in traffic for almost an hour.

All you guys have suggested great songs but I think muzzy's are the best... I just have to through in Welcome to the Jungle (G n' R) and I Am the Highway (Audioslave).
