vista has been an epic headache for me. its a pain in the *** to play games, i have to save word files different to send them to my professors, the the interface is very intrusive and it tries to control what you do. it doesn't want to give any control of the system to a user, because the average user cant do anything right. it gets mad at you when you try and manually do things, and its not reliable enough to do those things itself, otherwise i wouldn't have been trying to do them manually anyway.
when my wireless card stopped working (another vista related problem) i could not uninstall and then reinstall the drivers. it just would not let me do it. i would try, and a loading thing would come up, and it would just shut it down. i had to go into safe mode, just do fix the wireless card. my desktop disappeared once and so many things just don't work right on it. vista will be better in the future, that i know, but right now it makes babies cry
