Transformers opens on July 4 here--the same day as Die Hard 4. It'll be a double-feature for me!

Nice!!!!!! Also I hope Glenn Morshower (Aaron Pierce from "24") plays more of a role than just the military guy on the radio at the beginning. He's an awesome actor.

They still f-d it up in that he's a Freightliner and not a Peterbuilt like he's supposed to be. And don't get me started on Bumblebee.

Yes, he may be a long nose, he may not physically look like ol Optimus from the cartoon, but he is going to be 100% Optimus Prime. Partly because Peter Cullen has finally returned to the role, but mainly because no Optimus Prime, in any series, has been a py.

And there was nothing they could do about Bumblebee. Volkswagon didnt want their cars and name being associated with war. Of course there were other small cars they could've gone with, but the Camaro looked cool.

And before you tell me you grew up on TF, so did I. I was born in 89 but SciFi played Transformers everyday at 7am in 93 and 94. Then came Beast Wars.

All this side...this movie will rock. Its Transformers man.

Plus, nothing can compare to crap that has been the last three series.

i hear where your coming from... because now the front of optimus wont look right. however. i think a freightliner is better then a american lefrance pumper.

and bumblebee.... a bee is like a bug... a vw bug. it does suck. they could have had the mustang be bumblebee and the camaro be the cop.. sucks. i dont knwo, i still cant wait for it.

anothe thing, looks like the decepticons are not like transformers, more like weird robots that ust look kinda like humans. weird. i'll stil be there at the first show on july 4 though

Actually, he dies in the first 10 minutes of the film.

Something about Hitler and the ***** getting Volkswagen off the ground or something.

Nice to see that Chevy has no problems being associated with war.

Beast Wars sucked and you weren't even a itch in anyone's pants when Transformers was on the air (not re-runs), which ran from '84-'87.

And so far as the Volkswagen argument is concerned, then they should stop their contracts with the German military if they don't want any connection to war.

Same thing I thought of when I heard their excuse. Hitler made the "people's car" and the autobahn...so he wasn't all bad...I guess.

Or maybe even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.
