Without reading anyone elses first, I say unto y'all, in no particular order:

Jethro Tull
Boston
ZZ Top
Van Halen (not Hagar, although 5150 wasn't bad.)
Doobie Brothers

But I feel compelled to include these as well:
Eagles
Beatles
Wings
The Who
Yes
Three Dog Night
Styx
The Monkees
Barry Manilow
Beastie Boys
John Williams
Aerosmith with RunDMC
Jerry Goldsmith
Weird Al Yankovic
And of course, The Partridge Family. Or David Cassidy. You pick.
Oh yeah, and Enya.

That's so awesome to see really great music live on. Last time I was at Best Buy, a kid in front of me was buying a Beatles cd, and I thought that was so awesome! There's really great current music out there, but to really appreciate it sometimes you gotta know what came before it.
