It's hard to do. I can't seem to kick the whole 'eating' thing, for example.
But April, my Dad smoked for somethin' like 30+ years, and then quit. Boy did it stink for the rest of us.
But you can do it, and you have your friends here at TMS for support.

But I wrote too many 'buts' But that's ok. But I think I'll stop now. But it's so much fun. But someone might think I have a 'but' fixation. But I know better.

I quit cold turkey about 15 years ago. Nothing like going out to sea for a six month deployment and they run out of smokes. People that were smart enough to bring them were selling them for up to $20 a pack. I quit and never looked back. Now I just tell the young'ins that work for me who always complain about not having money to add up how much they spend and see if it covers their utility bills. It usually does.

I have something I am quite proud of now.... And I figure thats incentive- not to ruin her. PLUS I don't wanna die since I have her AT LAST.

Way to go April. Hope you win, I see more cons for you. It'd be like holding 1/4 panel scoops in front of you where you can't reach them till you quit. Not really, but yeah.
