So I just upgraded my Apple Powerbook to the new operating system, Tiger OS X. I have to say its great!

How many of you use Windows, Apple, Linux, or another operationg system?

By the way, I would recommend switching to apple. I just switched about one month ago. OS X is great!

How many of you will be waiting for the new Longhorn Operating System from microsoft? That is the new windows version, supposed to be out in about a year and a half. or just stay with XP?

Yes, no choice for ME. It's the stink. I regularly deride people when I see they're using ME, and not XP or 98.

I still use 98 for a lot of stuff. Works pretty good, over all, nice and stable when patched up.

My gaming PC is XP, baby, and you can get to see if if you click on my Muskrat linky.

My question is: No choice for 98? Or DOS, for that matter?

XP for me, most of the times. Ocacionaly I use a Linux box at work, or my wife's powerbook with OS X

Might make the swith to longhorn, after they work out some of the initial kinks

okay, my mistake for not including older Operating Systems. Can a mod still add the choices for Windows ME, Windows 98 and older, and MS-DOS ?

XP home sp1 on my laptop (havent formatted yet so I wont install sp2) and then XP Pro SP2 on my desktop/gaming machine. It works great for everything I do. I have a 2003 Server Enterprise edition installed on my file server machine just to toy around with.

Once longhorn comes out, I will more than likely get a copy and try it out, after they have some patches first.

XP Home. I like it & have no intention of changing.

Although at school it's XP Pro. & I have used/or had classes in Windows 3.1, DOS, Win 95, Linux, Apple, Macintosh, Win 98, & a few others.
